Food for Skin

Always struggling to navigate through those certifications, illegible ingredients and greenwashing claims on skin care packaging? Food for Skin does and that’s why we (sisters) have developed our own highly effective, yet highly sustainable skincare line, produced in the Netherlands.
All our products are 100% natural, vegan, mostly organic and very special: made from circular ingredients from the food industry. The living skin microbiome wants to be nourished with healthy ingredients: Food for Skin.

THE MAKER.

In 2018, the sisters decided the time was right for the skincare industry and decided to set the right example of how it can be done: premium skincare without nasties. It took the sisters more than 2 years to develop a minimalist line so you only need to use 3 products to nourish your skin.
In the midst of the C pandemic, we launched our products, and successfully. Quality is our number 1 priority and in the very first year, we were awarded two golden Dutch Beauty Awards.
We have offices in Amsterdam and Wognum and produce with our partners in Almere and Amsterdam.

Did you know that at Food for Skin, we like to bike as much as possible? Not only to work, but we have:
– Upcycled offices (shipping container turned into an office)
– Upcycled toiletry bags made from scraps from the denim industry
– Recycled shipping box with the phrase ‘hi, we’re oldies but we’re reused’.
