Jolien and Joachim from Studio Flash are real self-taught artists who exchanged their career as a sociologist and photographer for a more hands-on maker’s life. Everything just happens in their own house, between the soup, the fries and kids (literally because their desk is also the nursery). With their story of daring and doing they want to inspire others to also experience the manufacturability of the world.
The Studio Flash letterpress cards are made with age-old letterpress techniques in the garage of a family somewhere in a small town in Flanders. So right from the makers to you. The colors are mixed by hand and everything is printed with a very labor-intensive process, so that each card is a bit different from the rest. Your unique piece of art!
WIST JE DAT…?
Did you know that the Studio Flash cards can also be found in Alaska? A nice local shop contacted them via Instagram and since then a packet of letterpress cards has been sent to Alaska.
