Essyello
The jewellery from Essyello, a fair-trade jewellery brand, are all handmade by designer Sauling Wong. All materials are processed and 24k gilded in a small gilt workshop run by a Catalan family and then transformed into jewellery in Sauling’s workshop in the old part of Barcelona.
THE MAKER.
Sauling Wong is originally from Brabant and started the first collections of Essyello with left-over fabrics from her internship in Barcelona. Slowly the interest in transforming (neglected) materials into beautiful jewellery developed. Everything up to the recycled packaging is made locally and with love. The Essyello motto goes as follows; the longer you wear something, the more it becomes a part of you.
