Arber creates conscious fashion with a timeless character. Suitable for an everyday look and every season. Their premium basics are made of beautiful sustainable fabrics. They believe that it is their responsibility to create, design and distribute with respect for the world we live in. They believe that today’s fashion industry should resist mass consumption and overproduction; instead, they stand for buying less and buying better.
THE MAKER.
Arber is an Amsterdam-based brand founded in 2020 by Liesbeth de Jong. Their everyday essentials have a soul; they are made with love, consciousness and care. They constantly keep challenging themselves to make better, more innovative, more sustainable products. The blouses are created at the factory of ShirtbyHand in Hanoi, Vietnam. The ShirtbyHand factory employs 60 members, all working under fair and good conditions. The knitwear is produced in a textile factory located in Braga, Portugal. They are BSCI registered, which means that they work with sustainable and fair wear productions. Their merino wool has a mulesing-free certificate.
DID YOU KNOW…?
The founder of Arber Studio, Liesbeth, is also closely involved in the production location in Hanoi. Her own husband set it up. Together they regularly visit the location and they know employees personally.
