  • Kinta

    Kinta

    prod_img

    PRODUCTLINE.

Kinta, a fairtrade interior brand, manages to develop new interior items every season in collaboration with the local population in Africa and Asia. Two product lines in the spotlight: Acacia wood is a non-native type of hardwood that is common in the Philippines. It is beautiful wood with a warm color, and it is sustainable: the trees grow quickly and a new tree is planted for every tree that has been harvested. Capiz is a flat, oyster-like shell that occurs in large quantities in the waters around the Philippine islands. The shell lets in a lot of light. This makes Capiz an ideal basic material for the artistic collection of handmade lamps, photo frames, jewelry and other home accessories.

    THE MAKER.

Kinta is a Dutch importer of interior decorations from Africa and the Philippines. This involves much more than “one-sided” trade. The Kinta collection is the result of a unique symbiosis of local products and western designs. All items are manufactured in a sustainable manner, with a great eye for natural materials and the local situation.

    DID YOU KNOW…?

In the Spanish colonial era the Capiz shells were mainly used for windows in houses due to their light-transmitting nature.

In addition, BsaB remains committed to training local employees with natural production techniques and helping them to improve their lives.

    DID YOU KNOW…?

In Thailand, the glass is simply thrown in the household waste. The poor inhabitants take these bottles out of the household waste and sell them to large companies for a few cents per kilo. BsaB has developed a special process for washing these bottles and cutting them into elegant shapes. BsaB has taught the local bottle collectors in Bangkok how to properly cut the bottles. Now they manufacture and sell the cut bottles at the BsaB plant and are self-sufficient in their existence.

  • Dopper

    Dopper

    prod_img

    PRODUCTLINE.

At Dopper, a Dutch sustainable brand,  they have a dream: clean water. In every ocean, and from every tap. Water is an absolute necessity for all life on earth, yet every year 8 billion kilos of plastic ends up in our oceans (not cool). To turn the tide, they developed sustainable design water bottles for tap water, donated 5% of sales to the Dopper Foundation and supported water projects worldwide. Save the world in style with this durable water bottle. Every Dopper sold leads to less plastic waste in the oceans and more clean drinking water in places where it is mostly needed.

    THE MAKER.

The Dopper bottle is made of PP and the white cup of ABS. That probably doesn’t mean anything to you, but luckily it does to us! Because Dopper has specially chosen these materials because they are 100% recyclable and free from harmful substances and toxic plasticizers. That makes the Dopper completely BPA free. It is not only a sustainable product, our bottle is also Dutch Design. Our Dopper range consists of more than water bottles in all colors.

    DID YOU KNOW…?

You save the world with every Dopper. How? By drinking water from your Dopper, you are on average using 40 fewer disposable bottles per person per year.

  • El Jefe

    El Jefe

    prod_img

    PRODUCTLINE.

El Jefe started as a hobby in his kitchen. He lived in Texas and California for a long time and is a big fan of Tex-Mex food. In recent years he traveled a lot to Mexico and always took various chili peppers back to Amsterdam, where he developed his salsa sauces at home with lots of love. In the meantime the hobby has grown to a business that he put his heart and soul into full-time.

    THE MAKER.

El Jefe spent the past year developing his production process to meet the increasing demand. He is now at a point that El Jefe Primo Salsa is ready for a larger audience. His sauce even won the prize for best hot sauce in The Netherlands during the last Dutch Chili fest. The salsas are not (yet) fully organic, but fairly made and without any added substances or preservatives, only lemon juice. At the moment he gets his peppers in Mexico through a local wholesaler, but in the future he wants them to be grown exclusively for El Jefe as an organic product. The peppers are not available in Europe. The tomatoes are organic and come from Italy. El Jefe Primo Salsa is made in his own production studio, the Factoria Picante, as part of the Bret sustainability garden project at Amsterdam Sloterdijk.
