  • HURRAW

    HURRAW

    prod_img

    PRODUCTLINE.

Fun fact, did you know that women on average eat an entire lipstick each year accidentally simply by wearing it? Most lipsticks contain a lot of chemical ingredients. In other words, you put a lot of chemicals on your skin and thus also into your body by simply wearing lipstick. Hurraw is a beauty brand that makes lip balms completely made from organic, vegan and raw ingredients. So no toxins on your skin and no toxins that can enter your body. They ship in recycled and recyclable corrugated packaging and use 100% recycled post consumer paper for void fill. They hope to reduce their plastic use by 90% in the next five years. Their hope is that PCR material becomes easily attainable for all manufacturers that rely on plastics and that alternative plastic material and technology continues to be developed.

    THE MAKER.

Over the past decade, they have learned that making truly natural cosmetics is hard work! The majority of cosmetic brands are contract manufactured akin to the fashion industry. ‘New’ (recycled) lip colors, trendy anti-aging claims with the same old formulas and fancy plastic packaging are marketed as must haves every season. Truly natural cosmetics just can not run on the cosmetic industry hamster wheel. Many excellent cosmetic products can be manufactured with just a handful of pure, non-processed plant-based ingredients. But Hurraw must be realistic in their limits. They are after all, like food.

    DID YOU KNOW..?

There is potential for anything you put on your skin – especially your lips – to be absorbed into your incredible body.  So choose wisely and seek ingredient knowledge.
