Global Recycling Week (March 16–22) is a reminder that the clothes we wear don’t have to end up as waste. Especially denim, one of the most loved and durable materials in our wardrobes, can be recycled and turned into something new.
Together with MUD Jeans, we invite you to help close the loop. During this week you can bring your old denim items to our store, where they will be collected and recycled through MUD Jeans’ circular system.
As a thank you, you receive 15% off a new pair of MUD Jeans when purchased directly in store.
A simple step that helps turn yesterday’s denim into tomorrow’s jeans.
Why MUD Jeans Works Circular
At MUD Jeans, circularity isn’t just a concept, it’s the foundation of how their denim is designed.
Instead of producing jeans that eventually become waste, MUD Jeans creates products that are made to be reused, repaired and recycled.
When denim is returned, it doesn’t go to landfill. Instead, it becomes the starting point for new jeans.
The process works like this:
- Buttons, rivets and zippers are removed
- The denim fabric is shredded into fibres
- These fibres are blended with organic cotton
- The yarn is spun into new premium denim
Even small design details support this system. For example, MUD Jeans uses printed labels instead of leather patches, making the recycling process easier and more efficient.

What You Can Bring
You can bring denim from any brand, as long as it meets a few simple conditions:
- Minimum 96% cotton
- Jeans are preferred
- Other denim items may be accepted if suitable
Your old denim becomes part of a new cycle.

Closing the Loop Together
Circular fashion only works when we participate together.
