Fashion Revolution Week is an annual campaign bringing together the world’s largest fashion activism movement for seven days of action surrounding the anniversary of the Rana Plaza factory collapse on 24th April 2013. To mark the organisation’s tenth anniversary, Fashion Revolution Week 2024 will take place over ten days around the globe. This year’s theme is How to be a Fashion Revolutionary and encourages everyone to get involved in building a fair, safe, clean, transparent and accountable fashion industry.
MEND IN PUBLIC DAY
Calling all makers and menders!
Join us this Saturday, April 20th, as we hit the streets to stitch in protest against disposable fashion. Take a stand and bring your sewing kit! We’ll have a designated sewing area ready for you at the store. Unsure about your mending skills? No worries, bring your items in need of repair and we will help repair them and you can learn on the spot. This day is all about fostering learning and sharing.
